Welcome to CK IslandLink Couriers! By using our website (the “Site”) and our shipping and courier services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. Please review them carefully. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you should not use this Site or our services.

Use of our services is strictly limited to individuals or businesses capable of forming legally binding agreements. CK IslandLink Couriers reserves the right to refuse service or terminate accounts at its sole discretion.

We offer courier and logistics services including local and/or international shipping, pickup, and delivery. Service availability may vary by location.

CK IslandLink Couriers reserves the right to inspect shipments if required by law or for safety/security reasons.

 

5. Account Registration and Security

To access certain services, users must register for an account with CK IslandLink Couriers. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process and to update it as necessary. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to immediately notify CK IslandLink Couriers of any unauthorized use or breach of security. The Company will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to comply with these obligations.

All prices are subject to change without notice. Payment must be made in full before dispatch unless otherwise agreed.

8. Damaged Packages and Returns

At CK IslandLink Couriers, we are committed to handling your packages with the utmost care; however, damage may occasionally occur due to factors beyond our control during transit or handling by third-party carriers.

Packages may arrive damaged, and in some cases, the external packaging may appear intact while the contents are affected. In such instances, the customer will be promptly notified once any potential damage is identified by our agents, and we will facilitate pick-up from our Miami facility only.

We assume no liability for damage to package contents where the external packaging remains intact. In such cases, inbound shipping costs, freight charges, and delivery fees, where applicable, are strictly non-refundable. Customers must contact the merchant or supplier directly to make a claim for a refund, replacement, or redress.

CK IslandLink Couriers provides forwarding services only and does not process returns to merchants or suppliers. Once a package is delivered to our overseas facility, it is deemed delivered to the customer and cannot be returned to the sender. We do not visit post offices, courier drop-off locations, or any third-party shipping offices to return packages under any circumstance.

We strongly advise customers not to ship any items they do not intend to fully import into their local jurisdiction through our services.

9. Liability

We shall only be liable for loss or damage to shipments proven to be due to our own negligence or fault. In such cases, the company’s liability shall be limited to the declared value of the item on the invoice, or a maximum of USD $100 per shipment, whichever is less.

CK IslandLink Couriers is not liable for:

All claims for loss or damage must be made in writing within 7 days of delivery or expected delivery. Claims received after this period will not be considered.

Failure to declare the full value of goods will result in limited liability, and CK IslandLink Couriers shall not be liable for any amount exceeding the declared value.

11. Cancellations and Refunds

Once a shipment request has been confirmed and the package is accepted by our facility, cancellations are not permitted. Requests for cancellations must be made through the merchant prior to package acceptance at our facility. Customers are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of all information provided at the time of booking, including recipient details, shipping address, and package contents.

Refunds will not be issued for customer-initiated cancellations, change-of-mind requests, or delays that occur outside the reasonable control of CK IslandLink Couriers, including but not limited to customs inspections, weather conditions, governmental actions, acts of God, or delays caused by third-party carriers.

In the event that a service failure occurs due to the proven negligence or fault of CK IslandLink Couriers, the customer may be eligible for a partial or full refund of the shipping fee paid. Such claims must be submitted in writing within seven (7) days of the scheduled delivery date and must be accompanied by all relevant documentation, including the original invoice, tracking number, and a formal description of the issue encountered.

Under no circumstances shall CK IslandLink Couriers be liable for the declared value of goods, lost profits, incidental or consequential damages, or any amount exceeding the actual shipping charges paid, unless otherwise agreed to in writing prior to shipment. The Company reserves the right to assess and approve all refund requests on a case-by-case basis.

 

12. Customs, Duties, and Taxes

Customers are responsible for complying with all customs regulations and laws applicable to the shipment, including any duties, taxes, or fees imposed by government authorities. CK IslandLink Couriers acts solely as a carrier and intermediary and is not responsible for any customs clearance delays or additional charges incurred. It is your responsibility to provide accurate and complete customs documentation. Any customs duties, taxes, or related charges are the sole responsibility of the recipient or sender, as applicable.

 

13. Intellectual Property

All content on our website, including text, logos, graphics, and design, is the property of CK IslandLink Couriers and may not be copied or used without permission.

14. User Content and Submissions

CK IslandLink Couriers may allow users to submit feedback, reviews, suggestions, or other content related to our services (“User Submissions”). By submitting such content, you grant CK IslandLink Couriers a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, and fully sublicensable right to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, distribute, and display such content throughout the world in any media.

Our website and services may contain links to third-party websites, platforms, or services that are not owned or controlled by CK IslandLink Couriers. These links are provided for your convenience only.

CK IslandLink Couriers does not endorse or assume any responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites or services. You acknowledge and agree that CK IslandLink Couriers shall not be held liable, directly or indirectly, for any damage or loss caused by or in connection with the use of or reliance on such external content, goods, or services.

We recommend that you read the terms and privacy policies of any third-party sites you visit.

 

16. Termination and Suspension of Services

CK IslandLink Couriers reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access to services at any time, without prior notice, for conduct that the Company believes violates these Terms and Conditions or is harmful to other users, the Company’s operations, or its reputation. Termination or suspension does not relieve you of any outstanding payment obligations. Upon termination, your right to use the services immediately ceases, and the Company may delete your account and all related information.

 

17. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Jamaica. Any disputes shall be resolved in the Jamaican courts.

 

18. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to change or update these Terms at any time. Continued use of our Site or services indicates acceptance of any updated Terms.

 

19. Entire Agreement

These Terms and Conditions, along with our Privacy Policy and any other legal notices published by CK IslandLink Couriers, constitute the entire agreement between you and the Company concerning the use of our website and services.

They supersede any prior agreements, communications, or understandings (whether oral or written) between you and CK IslandLink Couriers regarding our services.

Any failure by CK IslandLink Couriers to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision. If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
